Ryan McCauley
HEAD COACH
Before starting his coaching career, Ryan McCauley played LSM and was President of the program from 2015-2018.
Now in his 4th year as Head coach, he continues to grow the program and build success off his first three seasons. His goal is to help all of his players graduate and find a career all while bettering the Cardinal community. Coach McCauley graduated with a degree in Sports Administration from the University of Louisville and was very involved in the growth of club sports. He is a great advocate for players during their time on campus helping them find internships and opportunities to gain experience in their career field.
In 2015, he led his team to their first Conference championship bid in 8 years. The following season, the team made it back and came out victorious with a 21-10 victory over UTC where Ryan finished with three goals, five assists and four ground balls. This was the first Conference championship in program history.
In 2017, following the 7-2 season, the Cardinals repeated as Conference Champions with a win over Akron University. McCauley had one goal, 6 ground balls and 4 takeaways to lead the team to a 12-8 victory. The team would accept their Nationals bid to Annapolis for the first time in program history!
Away from lacrosse: Enjoys supporting all Louisville Athletics, Golf, Videography and spending time with friends and family.
